Three of these step out for the first time so a frantic pace is likely early on over this sharp journey. CROWN LEGEND (4) first run for the new yard stalked the good tempo as favourite when a fighting second over 1000m at Orange. Strips much fitter for this and brings the right figures to take this out. NOR NOR WEST (2) lightly raced gelding who shouldn't be a maiden for long. Improved again at the second run back when came out fast before knocking up late to run fifth over 1200m at Dubbo. Finally draws a low gate and he looks one of the major players. SCATHINGLY (9) only the two career runs and expected to have matured from the five-month break. Ran on late at this course and trip on debut and not asked to do much in a recent trial. Winkers go on and should race closer from the better gate. BONNIE DUBAI (10) returned from a lengthy spell with an even on-pace fourth over 1000m at Tamworth. In a strong country stable and can add value to the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Crown Legend to win.
