Expecting a genuine tempo. TERMINAL VELOCITY (3) is back after a break of ten weeks. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 1600m at this track. Well placed and happy to have her on top. PEPPER TREE (11) did a good job last start to finish second at Turffontein Inside over 1800m, beaten half a length. Should be at her peak now. Has a wide gate to overcome but will still be competitive. HARPA (9) is a four-start maiden who looks close to breaking the duck after finishing in the placings at her last couple of runs, most recently when 4.5 lengths away in third over 1600m at this track. Tristan Godden stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Certainly one to consider. QUELLO CHE (7) ran a better race last start, finishing 8 lengths away in sixth over 1600m at Turffontein Inside. Has her share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
