LEADERBOARD (1) will be looking forward to not having to chase the champ Stern Idol, who has beaten at his past two starts. The run two back when getting within a length of that horse was outstanding and he tried hard again last time. 74kg here but has the class and Pateman aboard to be beating these. FABALOT (2) is going well, a maiden steeple winner three back followed up by two strong efforts, only 2.5 lengths behind Leaderboard when they clashed at Warrnambool. Looks the main danger again. CARNAMAH (3) was solid behind The Mighty Spar last time although has a decent margin to make up on Fabalot from last time. Each way. NASSAK DIAMOND (5) was in the market in a maiden steeple at Hamilton but lost the rider. A recent flat run was good and she could improve. MUSTANG HARRY (4) could sneak into the minors. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaderboard to win.
