A solid tempo on the cards with Kastun Star heading them off. IL CIELO (2) has been busting to win for the premier yard. Found a wide gate and heavy track last time, and he can jump and run from an inside gate today. Coffey is a positive jockey switch. KASTUN STAR (3) led again and improved sharply, beaten less than 2L at Geelong. Fitter again and has a handy 2kg claim. Has a key gear switch, and he's feared. LEXY ROSE (7) is Il Cielo's stablemate, and she had no luck at Seymour first up. The well-bred mare has more to give and is a player stepping up in trip. POSITIVO (4) did a pretty good job last start on the synthetic and he'd be in the mix bringing that level of form to the turf. RELIABLE JO (9) debuts and should be advantaged from the inside barrier. She's been well-prepared and deserves a betting watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Il Cielo.
