Moderate tempo with Elsueno leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. AMERICAN THIGHS (3) bounced back to form last start at this track with a 1.6L defeat over 1400m. Up to 1760m now is an interesting move, though there doesn't appear to be any reason why she won't run the extra trip out. Nicely placed and can land the knockout blow. RELIABLE IMAGE (4) settled back but ran over the top to score over 1642m here two back but disappointed last start s the race favourite. Up in trip now looks ideal and she may be able to settle a touch closer from an inside barrier. Plenty of gear changes coming into this can see her bounce back. ELSUENO (5) hasn't been far away in recent performances, leading his past couple and going under narrowly. He was good over the mile here two back and if he's able to dictate from the front, he'll be tough to run down. GONDRINKIN (2) just missed last start when flashing late and draws a better gate this time. Can go one better this time. SABINO (8) bounced back to form last start and can be right in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: American Thighs goes on top.
