Abundant pace from Praetorian, Red Sea Hills and Nkwenkwezi vying for the lead with Royal Miracle on their backs. STAY TUNED (7) produced a promising debut effort when third of 13 over 1400m on the Standside course. He lost a length leaving the start but finished off his race strongly. He would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1500m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat. NKWENKWEZI (8) set the pace over 1600m last time before getting outrun late. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. Solid each-way chance. LAVA COUNTY(9) was a tad disappointing over 1160m on the Standside course last time. His penultimate run when second over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course was encouraging. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and he can place. BRIGHAM (1) took the lead at the 600m mark last time before getting outrun late. He drops back in distance and can finish in the money.
