Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected.
MRS FLINTSTONE (5) stuck to her task gamely when finishing second by just over a length on debut at New Plymouth. She will naturally improve with that run under her belt, and should pick up a win at short notice while the tracks are wet. SNOOKI (8) ran on late after settling too far back in the running at Arawa Park just over 3 weeks ago. She was well in the market that day, and will be sharper in condition with that effort under her belt. Stick with her in an even contest. ALIYANA BELLE (6) did not fire on debut at Awapuni on the poly track there, and then improved quickly to finish third here nearly 4 weeks ago. She handles heavy ground and will be close to her peak fitness third up. Each way. READY RESPONSE (3) will be ready to rumble on debut with the benefit of a few trials, including his most recent last month at Foxton, which he won comfortably. The market will be a good guide to his winning chances in this.
NIGHTOWL (2) SUGGESTED PLAY: In an even field, Snooki could be worth another chance.
