Ilegitimo may well find the front is a race devoid of early speed. SHINING PROISIR (3) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome at the latest effort but go on the solid second at Toowoomba to commence the career. Looks ready for the seven-furlong journey now and can bounce right back to form. Former NSW galloper ATLAS JOHN (6) was okay in his first run for the new stable and will have come on with that run now in the locker. Only needs some luck from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the outcome. LINTHORPE LUCK (5) was well in the betting when facing the starter for the first time and wasn't too far off them. Where there's smoke there's fire and can trouble the judge. BUSH WOOKIE (1) is at the races for the first time but won't need to be a superstar to be competitive against this lot. Respect any market confidence. PROPONENT (7) best of the rest at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shining Proisir to break the maiden status.
