Plenty of early pace with Ryuno World and Oi Kumoyo battling for the lead but there will be pressure from a few other on-pacers. RYUNO WORLD (5) finished out of the money when fourth in a 1600m contest at this track two weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to get the prize. OI KUMOYO (9) is resuming from a spell of three-and-a-half months and having his first run for the Minoru Asakura yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Monbetsu over 1000m. A solid return is anticipated. DECIDED (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. BREST (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to find some form.
