Proven at this track and gets the right setup with Small's claim. The one to beat. JUST ON FIRE (8) backs up quickly after chipping away late with a respectable fourth over 1400m at Forbes. Trained here and sets up well for this. Each-way contender. CROWN LEGEND (6) has been kept fresh for this after showing speed from the wide gate when a fighting second to Zelestial over 1600m at Scone. Poorly drawn again but finds an easier race. STOCKHOLM (1) back in trip and the early effort told late when a fading seventh over 1600m at Wellington in BM66 class. Gets a better run and stays in the mix. DOWN THE KOOKA (7) stretches out to the mile for the first time after catching the eye over the 1400m at Moree. One for the minors. SUGGESTED PLAY: Grandini should prove too strong.
