Plenty of pace with Justin Dia and Black Persimmon leading from Cry Tonight. GOD MODE (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 0.8 lengths from the winner at the end of 1600m when he made late ground. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. JUSTIN DIA (10) finished sixth last time at this track after being prominent at the turn in a disappointing performance. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BLACK PERSIMMON (7) started at $8.60 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth here. Likely improver with strong prospects. MICHINO SICILIA (5) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track in fourth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
