Fast pace assured with Greylist, Catmiss and Power Of Katie leading the charge. RUN AWAY RENEE (6) spaced the Maidens on debut here as expected and was immediately spelled. Resumed off a trial win at Mackay and was nudged out as a $2.20 favourite and could have had better luck. She has been kept on the fresh side and Stanley sticks aboard. Fitter and tough to beat. ASK ME MATE (1) brings strong form to resumption and should be further improved. Jumps from the rail and Butler replaces Stanley in the saddle. He should be right in the finish. POWER OF KATIE (2) spiked her figures winning this grade at Mackay. She carries more weight but runs along and has scope for further improvement. CATMISS (5) is also third-up and brings a heavily bet Maiden win. Loses Stanley but should be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Run Away Renee.
