THURSTON IDAHO (1) was prominent from the outset and fought on for third last start over 1500m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should be handy in the run. Likely improver with strong prospects. GOLD RECORDER (10) has been safely held at her last couple of runs, the latest when 15th over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt. Much better placed this time and is one of the key chances. NORTH HIBIKI (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start here in sixth. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ICE CAVE (2) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better. Suitably placed so she can feature again.
