Solid tempo set by Super Azulada and Vive La Galette who are both capable of leading. VIVE LA GALETTE (1) went forward when resuming last start and proved too strong, getting home by 2.5 lengths over 1400m at Sonoda. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. TAIKI ZIPANGU (8) racing well. Registered a strong win at Sonoda two runs ago then closed off nicely when beaten half a length last time out. Major player. NEUJAHR (9) won two back then was on the move turning for home and found the line strongly to finish third over 1400m at Sonoda last time out. Expected to be in the finish. MARINO MAGICAL (2) improved last start but found a couple better over 1230m at Sonoda, beaten 2.5 lengths. No surprise to see her in the mix.
