Off the low draw Edono Phoenix is likely to find the lead at a slick tempo. CLAIR JACK (12) is an honest type who impressed last time. Record at this track is strong. Will be hard to stop. SEKKACHI CANE (5) is returning from a spell of six months. Finished ninth at Niigata Dirt over 1200m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Keiji Nakamichi. Has found a suitable race and can take this out. EDONO PHOENIX (3) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when fifth after being in the firing line on the turn. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. NASA (10) went forward and gave a great sight when second over 1200m at this track last time out. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and three minor placings from six outings. Don't underestimate.
