Talk Soon has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. SKELMORLIE (9) made good improvement, beaten 2L at Launceston and is on a quick back up. That's good form for this contest and stepping up to the mile is ideal. Byrne Burke is reunited with the Trinder-trained galloper. SIENA WOLF (8) was on pace and finished a whisker ahead of the above. She will give herself every chance to run the mile right out. NO MORE ROCKS (5) was plainer over longer last time, but resumed in good order this trip, and he's a place chance with the extra fitness. TALK SOON (10) peaks following a nice effort at this track last start when fourth. Will use the rail and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Skelmorlie.
