PRIDE OF ASPEN (1) is back to her best after posting back-to-back wins, and in another small field, the hat-trick beckons. WHAT A CHARMA (3) battled away well enough in a stronger field at Te Rapa just over 2 weeks ago, and bolted in at Arawa Park before that. He is nicely weighted after a 3kg claim, and a smaller field will also be to his advantage. Can bounce back and win this. DANCIN IN THE DARK (4) has made some sharp progress this prep and made it 2 wins from his last 3 starts when scoring impressively at Waverley 16 days ago. He has more to offer, and down in the weights, he will be competitive again. VERRY FLASH (2) is better known as a hurdler these days, but still retains some pace on the flat. There are only 5 acceptors in this field, so he has to be considered for all combinations. RUA ROCKS (5) needs to improve, but can go so in this race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pride Of Aspen can complete the hat-trick here.
