WIND ARIEL (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1500m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to find winning ways. APEGO (10) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1500m at this track after being in contention on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. SMASH POWER (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 18 when finishing eighth at this track over 1500m after he was well back on straightening. Best figures measure up nicely. One of the chances.
