JOYE FAMILY QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate 1400m
Lack of early speed means Mystic Ascot could find the lead. NIGHTLINE (11) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1200m at Gold Coast when second, beaten a head. Has plenty of upside so she will prove tough to beat. LADY WINDERMERE (10) is resuming after a spell of five months. Closed last campaign with a fourth over this journey at Gold Coast, beaten 0.7 lengths. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Looks set for a bright return. UNIQUELY FAMOUS (7) is a Toronado gelding on debut for the dominant Chris Waller stable. Fitter for a recent trial and gets the key booking of Wiggins. Blinkers are on, expect him to be very competitive. VINTAGE VIBES (14) returns and looks to have come on nicely during the break on the back of some nice trial performances. Draws to get the gun run from the inside pillar and can make the perfect return. AN DE BAN (8) showed improvement second-up when closing off nicely into fifth. Backs up quickly and is open to further improvement. Holds claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nightline to win. |

STOCKYARD VALLEY WEDDINGS Maiden Handicap 1400m
No noted leader on paper but Doing It and Outdoor Cat have enough pace to take up the running from out wide. EXPRESS STAR (6) has chased gamely to the line in three runs to date and looks ready to peak now stepping up in trip. Well placed to shed the maiden tag. CAVASCOT (11) has been honest without threatening dominant winners but strips fitter third-up and finds a very winnable race. TWILIGHT STEPS (21) was solid last start over this track and trip and is drawn to get every chance. In the mix again. OUTDOOR CAT (14) hit the line strongly at Gatton and, despite the wide draw, can be dangerous late if the tempo is genuine. BOLD BEAUTY (16) was plain fresh but is capable of sharp improvement second-up. Keep safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Express Star gets the nod. |

FRASER-KIRK PLASTIC SURGERY RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 Handicap 1000m
Brilliant Eight should lead at a strong tempo. BILLY BOOM (2) should be ready to strike after a solid return here over this trip. Trial win since keeps him ticking over and Wiggins sticking is a strong lead. Looks well placed to break through. HIT (5) was narrowly denied here first-up before failing to fire on the synthetic. Back to this track and trip suits and he’s capable of bouncing back hard. BRILLIANT EIGHT (7) has returned in good order, following his maiden win with a brave second at Gympie. Has the pace to be prominent and is a genuine contender. RIVA D'AMOR (10) resumes for the Hansen yard and has test figures that measure up. Don't dismiss. IRISH THUNDER (8) is hard to catch but has form at the trip to sneak into the finish at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Billy Boom. |

CIVIL SCAPES Class 2 Handicap 1000m
King Of The Jungle and Mishani Crown will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. OOHLALOUVRE (9) stuck on gamely when resuming over this favoured course and trip. Strips fitter and looks one of the key hopes and carries a feather with the 3kg engaged. PANIGALE (4) resumes for a new yard after showing ability in Victoria. Trialled well enough and should be right in the mix fresh. TAKE A BOW (7) is racing better than her form reads and has a solid record at this track. At peak fitness now and capable of breaking through. SKY BLUE (10) continues to improve with racing and backs up quickly from a solid effort. Well drawn and has claims. WARILLA GORILLA (5) resumes off two trial wins and gets in light with the claim. Draws well and is a genuine winning chance fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oohlalouvre to win. |

SHERRIN RENTALS BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 2200m
Hell Of A Prince to roll forward and dictate terms. TORTILLA (9) was strong on speed when scoring by a clear margin at Lismore and looks well placed to go on with it. Leading player. BAVARIAN LADY (11) continues to race consistently without breaking through. Deserves a win and should be in the finish again. WAGGA WAGGA (5) was plain fresh but fitter now, steps up in trip, and gets Wiggins on. Capable of sharp improvement and is a genuine threat. TUKI TWELVE (7) rarely wins but was only nailed late over 2400m here last start. Will be running on hard again. KAYLEEN'S PROFIT (8) stuck on well for third at Lismore and finds another winnable race. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tortilla to win. |

ROSS MACLEAN FELLOWSHIP BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1600m
Inca Trail and Ionaceltic will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. HE'SGOTTHESAY (3) was dominant breaking his maiden here last start, putting a big gap on rivals over this trip. Progressive type who looks well placed to go right on with it. IONACELTIC (7) was no match for a smart winner last time but stuck on well for second after scoring at Dalby prior. Consistent and capable of bouncing back into the winner’s stall. LUCONI (6) disappointed last time but his first two runs back were full of merit. Long time between drinks but worth another chance. FITZROY STREET (9) produced a strong late run into the frame last start and still has upside. Wide draw is tricky but Wiggins is a key booking. ROXSET (17) surged home to score here last start and the extra trip suits. Will get back again but can be charging late. SUGGESTED PLAY: He'sgotthesay to win again. |

SYMONS LAXON RACING BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1300m
Mishani Persuasion to take charge ahead of Royal Gladiator at a solid tempo. BADDA BOOM BABY (3) looks ready to peak now fourth-up after a sharp improvement last start when close-up in third over this track and trip. Well drawn, aided by the 3kg claim, and gets his chance to break through. MISHANI PERSUASION (5) has built nicely into his prep and was only a neck away at Dalby last time. Faces a stronger field but has the talent to measure up. OUT OF ACES (2) resumes and has a strong first-up record, placing in all three fresh runs to date. Trialled well and gets weight relief with the claim. Must be respected. RED CODE (8) showed speed and fought hard when second fresh at Casino. Strips fitter and can give another bold sight on the pace. UCELLE (16) improved sharply at Gatton when sticking on into the frame. Drawn to roll forward again and is one for the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Badda Boom Baby. |
