TARCOOLA TAVERN-BAR-BISTRO MAIDEN 1628m
Slick tempo with Monaco Calling to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. SAFARI BOY (2) is still a maiden after 14 starts but looks well placed in this race on the back of a disappointing effort at Belmont last time out. Back to a race of this calibre looks ideal and if he gets some luck from the barrier, he'll be very hard to hold out. CANTILEVER (1) should be peaking now after finishing second over 1410m at this track last time at the third run of the campaign. Well placed and should go well again. FREAKISH BY NATURE (10) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths over 1400m contest at Northam nine days ago. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is set to turn things around. FLY AWAY FLIRT (11) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1500m at York. This looks a nice race so expect her to finish closer. BEST RESULT (7) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Safari Boy gets the nod in the opener. |

GERALDTON MOTOR INN HANDICAP 1628m
Genuine tempo with Miff Muffered Moof and Sanabeau pressing for the lead. BELVEDERE ROCK (2) had a bit on his rivals last time with an impressive 4 lengths win over 1614m at this track. Has been in super form this campaign and he still has plenty of scope for improvement being a lightly raced commodity. Can continue to raise the bar and bring up a hat-trick of wins. MORE LIKELY (3) finished 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1400m at Kalgoorlie after being prominent at the bend a month ago. Steps up in journey today but should appreciate the easier company he's facing. Can put his best foot forward form an inside draw. NEVER SOBER (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a head from the winner in third over 1410m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. TIGER LINE (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 23 when fourth at this track over 1614m. Best figures measure up nicely. In the mix. BENTLEY BEAU (5) was good late last start and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Belvedere Rock is the one to beat. |

TARCOOLA EXPRESS DRIVE THRU COFFEE MAIDEN 1120m
Roll'emup, Dixie Princess and Big Bopper can set a strong tempo. BLACK CILLA (5) disappointed here last start over the 1410m journey and drops back in trip today. She flew late over a similar trip first-up and that was the best performance we've seen from her. Likely to get back again but can fly over the top to shed her maiden tag. KIDDING ME (6) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 1.75 lengths back in seventh over 1000m at Pinjarra Scarpside prior to the spell. Her recent trial was very good and this rave looks to shape nicely for her. Ticks plenty of boxes and can resume on a winning note. REMEMBER WHEN (14) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1203m at this track. Open to further improvement now and with some luck he can be in the finish. DIXIE PRINCESS (3) is knocking on the door with his recent runs and gets the in-form apprentice on board. Can feature. BIG BOPPER (2) is not out of this with the blinkers on for the first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Black Cilla can get the job done. |

BOTTLEMART TARCOOLA HANDICAP 1120m
Strong pace with Luckee Floran, Hit The Jackpot and Prince Ragnar pushing forward, closely attended by On The Mark and Onemoretwomany. HIT THE JACKPOT (7) is a distance specialist who finished out of the money two starts back then was 6.5L off them in Saturday grade last time out. Has been kept up to the mark with a recent trial and drops plenty of weight today with the claim of Cheung. Can sit up on the speed from an inside draw and give them something to catch. ONEMORETWOMANY (6) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 7L away last time out. He was good in this grade two back. Can bounce back to his best.. ZING TO WIN (2) built on a nice third two starts back at Kalgoorlie with a win over 1100m, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Nicely placed to go back-to-back. PRINCE RAGNAR (4) has been in the placings in his past two starts, finishing third over 1203m at this track last time out. Has a high cruising speed. Can feature in the finish. SURE NO SOMETHING (5) can be on the speed from a good draw and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hit The Jackpot can get the job done. |

BULLSEYE BIRDIES HANDICAP 1120m
Cracking tempo with Flying Forever and Twelveunder leading the way. FIRE THE GUARD (1) disappointed last start at Kalgoorlie but was in much better form prior to that performance. Given a freshen since that run and this looks a very suitable race from a good draw. Can bounce back to his best and notch up his third win. UNDERCOVER SNIPER (2) ran well despite being friendless in betting when resuming last time over 1103m at this track, finishing third and beaten 1.5 lengths at $26. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and is expected to be in the finish. BE MY BELLE (10) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell, finishing 12th and beaten 13 lengths over 1400m at Belmont. Lines up for the new trainer on her home track now. Can be an improver on resumption. LIVE LUCKY (6) lines up for the first time since February 6. Looking to emulate her win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Can make her presence felt. MOONIEMIA (14) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fire The Guard gets the nod. |

BULLSEYE BIRDIES CUP DAY AFTER PARTY HANDICAP 1420m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Hillside Monarch leading the way. BATTLE ON BATTLER (1) just missed two back before bumping into a progressive type here last start, beaten 3.9L that form may have been franked earlier today already. Drawn ideally for Webster with the 3kg claim coming in handy. Can go one better this time around. HILLSIDE MONARCH (7) was far too good as an odds-on favourite here last start, sitting close to the speed and running away to win impressively. Tougher here but she's open to plenty of improvement. Draws nicely and will be hard to hold out. STRYKER'S GAL (4) fitter for the first up run over 1103m at this track, finishing 4 lengths from the winner. Has a solid second up record and open to sharp improvement. TRULY GALLANT (5) won on debut last time out a week-and-a-half ago over 1210m at this track, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Solid top-three hope. SNIPPETY LEGEND (3) can feature first-up for the new stable having made the move from Victoria. SUGGESTED PLAY: Battle On Battler can get back to winning ways. |

BULLSEYE BIRDIES CUP DAY SHUTTLE BUS HANDICAP 1220m
Slick tempo with Keytrade to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. SAFE HUSTLE (6) turned his form right around last start with an all-the-way victory over the 1110m journey, holding on to win in a photo finish. He was a $15 chance there but turned in a strong figure to get the job done. Back up in trip today, but drops in weight and can repeat the dose. BOLTA (3) made it back-to-back wins here over 1413m before going for a spell. He's trialled well this time in work and while he hasn't won first-up in the past, he hasn't been far away. Needs some luck from the draw but bringing up the hat-trick on resumption wouldn't surprise. DARK MIST (8) was last at the races when she finished eighth over 1600m at Carnarvon on June 27. Has to be respected. LEONARDO DA GREY (7) improved sharply last time out to score by 2 lengths over 1110m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Well placed to feature in the finish again. GOLD KEEPER (2) won a trial recently and can play a major role first-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Safe Hustle can bring up back-to-back wins. |
