Hard to go past SLENDER SILHOUETTE (7) who has improved at each of three runs. Placed only run last time in and will be hard to hold out over this journey fresh. QUEENSLAND (8) made debut with a placing then was injured next time. Thereabouts last time and freshened since. Has ability and gets chance to go close. OLD FASHIONED (1) race don speed and fought on well to place when fresh from a break. Fitter and open to further improvement. One of the chances. PRINCESS OF ALL (10) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 10 lengths. Nice weight drop with the claim and should be in the mix in this suitable race. |

Moderate field. EMERALD FORGE (2) is a promising type overdue for a win having placed 3/3 so far. Just missed at only start last campaign and has placed 2/2 while fresh. Might be beaten for speed the shorter trip but will be tough to hold out. MASTER'S LADY (3) was beaten just a head fresh and can only be fitter. Has plenty of upside and expected to measure up. VARACHINO'S CHAMP (12) is facing the starter for the first time. By Soqrat and hails from the Fabian Habib stable. Profiles well for this and worth watching for a betting push. GASLIGHT DANCER (5) resumed from a good break when fifth in a big field over the weekend and fitter again. On the quick back-up and expected to play a major role. PLUMBAGO PARK (6) was well off best from a wide gate when resuming. Freshened again and well back in trip. Can atone. |

RACING TODAY MAIDEN PLATE 1400m
Hard to go past WAYNE (15) after a strong debut. Raced this course over 1200m as a $15 chance but went above himself and placed. Further improved and this no tougher. Expected to go close. GO JOHNNY GO (9) is a three-year-old colt from a successful breeding line, being by Gimmethegreenlight from the stakes winner Touch The Sky. Stable have a great record with the first-starters and leading rider engaged. Keep very safe. BATTLE OFTHE BULGE (3) was a well held third fresh then wound up strongly to just miss latest. Can go one better. AMANDLA NGAWETHU (1) has had a let-up and did place when last fresh-up. Course and distance placed and expected to run well. |

PLAY SOCCER 6, 10 AND 13 MR 75 HANDICAP 2400m
SKY PILLAR ROCK (2) is a progressive galloper building to a win. Placed in a good form race two back then beaten just a head latest. Best form is this circuit and looks suited by the longer journey now. ARLINGTON ACTION (3) is a veteran this course and distance including last start when won with a bit in hand. Big weight but honest and should feature again. CHABAL (4) is also a last start winner, scoring here over 2000m. Unplaced only try here this trip but going well and can out that right. CARTAGENA (7) fought on for second last start over 2400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. |

Like the form around LONELY AS A CLOUD (2) who has been racing in much tougher company. Very well placed here and meets some out-of-form gallopers. Gets chance to break through. IN THE ETHER (3) is a veteran mare who is rarely far away and has been winding up strongly. Great record this course and distance and should be hitting the line hard late. MICHAEL FARADAY (4) was a 1700m winner with ease two back then dropped back to 1450m last time. Comes back even further in journey so suspect he'll be beaten for speed and dropping late. Did win only try this trip earlier in career. TIGER STORM (1) has been thereabouts and back in grade can improve into the finish. |

ANTONIO GAUDI (6) is fitter for two runs back and put the writing on the wall last time he finishing runner-up in a photo. Ready to win and gets chance. Similarly, DRIVELIKEAMASTER (7) looks ready to win after two runs back. Improved effort last time and should be at top to find best now. PALACE REVOLT (9) has been thereabouts in recent runs. Comes back in grade and although long time since a win does go well this trip. One of the chances. TURBO POWER (4) was fourth fresh and fitter for it. Best form is when second-up and no surprise to see him improve sharply. |

DYLAN'S CHAMP (9) has been going well including a last start win over a mile at Turffontein Inside. Nice weight drop for this and is fit and in form. Stick with him. PRESLEY (1) ran a much improved race second-up and looks ready to break through. Extra trip a plus now. JORDAN (4) is fitter for the one run back when not far away over a mile fresh and has placed 2/4 when second-up. Fitter and looks an improver. ZANTHAR (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Turffontein Inside, beaten 4.5 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts. |

OKLAHOMA TWISTER (6) was a winner here two back then dropped back to 1450m last time and was a few lengths away. Better suited back to the mile and looks well placed to atone. GAMER (5) is a last start winner over 1450m and does have a solid record this course and distance. Looks a leading chance again. SUNSHINE DAY (2) doesn't win out of turn and always spots a start but right in this on best. Yet to win at the mile but always charging late and can run on into the finish. VAVA VEGAS (9) missed the frame two back then was a close-up third over 1800m at this track, latest. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. |
