Anticipate a moderate tempo is a race devoid of recognised speedsters. PRESTIGE GUNDY (5) ran a much better race at his second outing when he gripped on to run second over 1006m at Grafton. Going better than most of these and will have little trouble running the 1250m out. BUCKET LIST (3) resumes after having mixed luck in his first prep. Battled on in the heavy conditions when second over 1205m at Coffs Harbour. Back without a trial and Luke Rolls sticks. PRESSIPITATING (8) best performance in eleven starts when sat on the speed from the better draw to secure second over 1000m at Casino. This looks tougher but not to be underestimated. STRATTON (6) finding it hard to breakthrough and looks the pick of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prestige Gundy can go on with it now with fitness on his side. |

Fitted with five solid trials and looks well placed from the low draw. CHOCECLAIR (8) now in the Sharon Croxford yard after disappointing in three career runs. Back in grade when a plugging fourth over 1210m at Moruya. Maps well and shapes as a likely improver here. DARLING TAKE CARE (9) resuming from a break. Placed in a recent trial. Opened last campaign with a third at Grafton over 1000m. In the mix. ZANJEER (3) returned from a spell with fair effort last start when seventh, beaten 2.75 lengths, at Eagle Farm over 1000m. Fitter and a hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: Permission Granted to salute on debut. |

Genuine tempo from Cool Fizz leading Back On De Quo. Scratchings have taken the key runners, so KIRRA'S SISTER (4) resumes as top pick. Last appeared when back in class and trip for a maiden victory over 860m at Gatton on April 29. Fitted with the one 1000m trial and gets her chance with the claim. BACK ON DE QUO (5) resumes today following a recent trial at Grafton, can figure in the finish. BELLZEN (2) reasonable effort first up last start, finishing fourth and beaten 2.75 lengths over 1000m at Casino. In the mix. HARE STREET (8) in the money two starts back at Murwillumbah but couldn't back that up when unplaced over 1000m at Casino last time. Can atone. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kirra's Sister to resume a winner. |

Solid tempo with Pantelone possessing enough dash to find the front. WRITTEN FAME (6) sharp winner two back over this track and trip. Sent straight to town when raced without luck from the wide gate to finish eighth over 1200m at Doomben. Winning rider hops back on and brings a superior set of figures here. PANTELONE (2) gripped on late two-back, before sitting on the pace with the claim when a tough winner over 1200m at Rockhampton. Will give a sight again. SARSEN (8) on the backup when a long overdue winner in average company over 1540m at the Gold Coast Poly. Hard fit and gets map favours. BEAN FOGGY (3) is resuming from a break. Fitter for a recent trial at Ballina and in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Written Fame looks well placed with Newman's claim. |

Taga Smile is the probable leader in the small field. CHICAGO KING (1) holding his form and surely today is the day he gets off the mark at start thirteen. Closed off strongly last start to finish third over 1350m at Ipswich. Will be tough to stop again with a more positive ride. TAGA SMILE (10) improving filly coming along nicely at her second prep. Came out positive from the low draw and held on gamely when second over 1400m at the Sunshine Coast. Can take control and prove hard to run down. INQUISITOR (6) heavily supported for the new yard ($1.80 fav), when he gripped on late to secure second over 1200m at the Gold Coast Poly. Near his top and has genuine top three claims. STRENUOUS (7) beaten for early speed on resumption when a plugging fourth over 1206m at Grafton. Comes to hand quickly and looking for the 1400m now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chicago King and Taga Smile to fight it out. |

Expecting Born To Be Alive to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. PLEADEEL (4) struggled in town this preparation and comes back a few grades today after finishing a poor fifteenth over 2000m at Doomben in BM70 class. Placed here and strips much fitter. KATERINI (9) went back from the sticky draw when jumped in trip for an even eighth over 2400m at the Sunshine Coast. No shock to see her put her best foot forward today. KALKANLI (3) Impending gelding who finished runner-up again when he stalked the speed for a tenacious second over 2110m at Lismore. Up in trip and stays in the mix. TORTILLA (7) broke a long drought last time when he scored by 2.5 lengths at Lismore over 2110m. Chance to go on with it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,9,3,7. |

Cracking tempo with Luvtoknow and High Class Roller leading the way. WHISKEY MISS (13) excellent return when shedding her maiden status with a dominant victory over 1210m at Lismore. Can go on with it this prep and gets every chance from the low draw. LIMAHULI (2) blinkers go on for the first time from the better gate after chipping away late with the 62kg when sixth over 1200m at Ipswich. Value chance. VETOED (12) recorded yet another minor placing last time out when third over 1310m at Lismore. Great chance to go a couple better. HIGH CLASS ROLLER (6) resumes and whilst not a noted first-up performer, gets a chance to feature here. In the mix from the good draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 13,2,12,6. |
