YA KNOW MY STEELO (6) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish second over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Has ability and looks sure to measure up. CHRONUS BULLET (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. MIRACLE BLUE (2) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent outing over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. |

FERN GROTTO (5) turned in a good effort on debut 12 weeks ago when 1.3 lengths away in second at Kokura over 2000m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Will be better for that race experience and looks the one to beat. ALMA DE ORO (14) wasn't far away first up last start when fourth over 2000m at this track. May appreciate the longer journey with that run under the belt. Expected to feature in the finish. ENGAGE PRIDE (2) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 2000m at Chukyo, an improvement on his sixth at Kyoto Dirt the run before. Progressive type with strong prospects. SUNRISE SUGAR (16) faced the starter for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing eighth at this track over 2400m, beaten 9 lengths. Can improve and is not to be discounted. |

MARINE (7) settled back before coming home strongly to score on debut over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt three weeks ago. Sure to improve and can make it back-to-back wins. KURINO SWALLOW (4) crossed from an outside draw last time to stalk the lead before drawing clear to win by 4 lengths when resuming over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Will go forward and should be in the finish again. SCHWALM (3) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt ten weeks ago and has not appeared since. Lemaire is a significant engagement. Key runner. NETTE FRAU (5) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. |

AQUA VERNAL (9) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 2400m at this track. No reason she cannot salute now that she has struck form again. BETTLES (3) returns after a spell of four months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 2200m at Chukyo. Has found a suitable race to hit the ground running. TIMUR (1) did well last time to finish second over 2000m at this track, coming from midfield on the corner. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Among the winning hopes. DIAMOND RAIN (8) showed good early dash at the first run after a spell last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 3 lengths away in third over 2400m at Kyoto. LUDIQUE (12) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Has a high cruising speed. Will prove tough to beat if he brings his best form. PHILIP (10) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Tokyo Dirt two starts back then got the job done by 2 lengths as favourite last time out over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. BACK TO THE LIGHT (5) last appeared on December 22 when a good fourth over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 2.25 lengths. Races well at this circuit and has to be respected. CUTTING GEM (4) returned from a spell six-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 10 lengths into 11th over 1500m at Kawasaki. Fitter and sure to run well. |

Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 1600m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Best form comes here at this trip so anticipating a big run. JUN GOLD (12) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1400m at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Is a winner when second-up. Backmarker who gets home hard and will prove tough to stop. QUICK BIO (1) was beaten 2 lengths into fourth in a 1200m contest at this track at her latest appearance. Worth noting Yuga Kawada goes aboard. Well placed to bounce back. |

MIKKI FIGHT (8) was well fancied when resuming but found a couple better in the G1 February Stakes at Tokyo Dirt, finishing 2 lengths adrift at the end of 1600m. Unbeaten at this longer journey. Winning chance dropping back a couple of levels. YAMANIN OURS (9) started favourite last time but found a couple better over 1400m in stakes class at this track. Better placed out to this distance. Should be in the finish again. OMEGA GUINESS (4) is back from a break of 12 weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when seventh over 1800m in the G2 Procyon Stakes at Chukyo Dirt. Under the care of new trainer Shogo Yasuda this prep. One of the main contenders. HAGINO ALEGRIAS (12) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing fourth over 1800m in the G1 Champions Cup at Chukyo Dirt four-and-a-half months ago. Loves racing here and is a definite contender. |

MIGHTY MIGHTY (11) ran on strongly only to just miss when first-up from a thirteen-month absence last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. KALPA (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Chukyo Dirt, finishing fourth and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort.
