NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:26 PINK MOON HANDICAP 1100m
Rodney Oh Rodney and Solaris Glow to take it up. RODNEY OH RODNEY (4) delivered the goods as expected when dropping in class and scoring at Pingrup 4 weeks ago. He has had a quiet Belmont trial since then, and Ryan Hill is normally hard to beat when he takes his team to the bush circuit. On top. WHO'S ME DADDY (1) is a locally trained gelding making his debut for a new trainer. He might need the run, but in this field, he can't be ruled out of a top 3 finish. REDWOOD RANSOM (6) is a 9-year-old maiden having his third start for a new trainer. He has looked a lot better in a couple of recent Geraldton trials, and with the blinkers back on, maybe he can show some form. BENFIN (2) did not fire fresh up at Geraldton and had an excuse after the run. He is better than that and is worth another chance. Include in all multiples.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Rodney Oh Rodney to win.
2 02:06 TABTOUCH DONGARA SPRINT 1100m
Strong pace from Spirit Man, Smokey Mountain and Talking Heads, with Safe Hustle and Justhandy on their heels.  ARCHER COUNTY (1) needed his resuming run at Geraldton, and he is normally much sharper second up. He has good form when campaigning on the bush circuit, and will be hard to hold out. TALKING HEADS (6) has raced his way into good form and will find this easier than his last couple of starts at Narrogin. He is 5 weeks between runs and is ready to break his win drought. SPIRIT MAN (5) ran a much better race at Geraldton when finishing third there over 1113m 6 days ago. He has a superior gate this time and is another who is long overdue for a win. JUSTHANDY (4) has been battling lately in some better company and with the advantage of the pole position, a form reversal is expected, especially with the aid of a 4kg claim. SMOKEY MOUNTAIN (2) will be peaking third up and is ready to put his best hoof forward. Each way.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Archer County to win.
3 02:42 65 THIRTY EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT MAIDEN 1200m
Just a modest pace in store without noted speed runners engaged.  COZZIES CHOICE (11) was not far away fresh up at Pinjarra and then was fifth there on the Scarpside straight course 16 days ago. She will find this company more to her liking and will benefit from a 4kg claim. The powerful Adam Durrant stable would not be here if he did not think she had a big winning chance. ONE GINGER FOX (10) has the blinkers on for the first time. She finished third at Geraldton in her penultimate start, and that sort of form will give her a solid each-way chance in this, if you can look past her most recent modest effort at Pinjarra-Scarpside. FLASH INVADER (1) resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He was placed twice last spring and is capable of figuring in the finish fresh up. Use the market as your guide. FAST JOHN (2) fought on well enough against the outside fence down the straight course at Pinjarra-Scarpside when resuming from a spell. He will improve quickly with the run, and from a handy draw, he can place. JET POWER (6)  SUGGESTED PLAY: Cozzie's Choice to win.
4 03:21 LAMBRON CONTRACTING HANDICAP 1200m
Dirty Chai and Finance Legend are both expected to press forward and take it up.  DEVILS I (5) has been rather disappointing in all 4 starts back from a spell and is dropping back from a mile to 1200m after finishing last 17 days ago at Ascot. He lands the pole position, and in this company with a 4kg claim, a form reversal is likely. On top. MAGICAL GEM (8) dropped down to bush grade at Pingrup 4 weeks ago and finished third in a 5-horse field. He also drops back to 1200m and has won twice over this trip. Stick with him. DIRTY CHAI (4) resumes from a spell for a new trainer and normally comes to hand quickly. She has a good record over the trip and can make her presence felt. ROCKSTAR STATUS (1) is having his first run this year and has won a couple of races fresh up in the past. He is also a 2-time winner over the trip and will be ready to rumble fresh up. Include in all multiples. JIVE KING (7) needs to improve but can do so with the aid of a 4kg claim in a modest lineup. Don't risk him.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Devils I to win.
5 03:56 SWAN DRAUGHT DONGARA CUP 1850m
A solid tempo on the cards with Kentucky Blue taking charge.  ARNIE'S BOY (2) is a durable veteran who is very consistent when fit. He ran his best race this prep at Geraldton 6 days ago when finishing a game third. He is nicely placed in this and can get the job done this time. STRIKING FELLA (1) has raced his way into form lately and appreciated the getting away from some tough assignments in the city earlier in the year. He has a reasonable draw and with the aid of a 2kg claim, he can figure in the top 3 again. FORBIDDEN APPLE (7) has seen his form drop away in his last couple of starts, and he has the blinkers off this time. The step up to a middle distance could help, and he is worth another chance. KENTUCKY BLUE (3) is a handy gelding on his day, and his form in 4 starts this prep has been sound, including a last start second at Geraldton 6 days ago. Stick with him. Can win. UNI QUEEN (4) drops in grade from her recent racing at Ascot and is ready to put her best hoof forward here. Include in all combinations to be safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Kentucky Blue each way.
6 04:33 WILD WEST HAULAGE HANDICAP 1100m
A solid tempo is on the cards with Heartford House and Rakiura pushing for the lead ahead of Rommel's Angel and Bitovemu.  UNDERCOVER SNIPER (1) led all the way when scoring a comfortable win at Geraldton in his penultimate start, but did not fire last time out after racing in the open from a wide draw. He has a more favourable gate this time, and with the benefit of a 3kg claim, he can take them all the way. Don't drop him. BERRY BERRY GOOD (7) was an easy Pingrup winner before only battling at Narrogin nearly 3 weeks ago. He has the pole position this time, and on this bush circuit, he is worth another chance. ROMMEL'S ANGEL (10) resumes from a spell and does have winning form fresh up. If she doesn't need the run, then she can grab a slice of the finish. Let the markets do the talking. ORTUM KRISP (9) is normally competitive on the bush circuits, and she normally needs a run before hitting her straps. A good draw gives her a top 4 chance. BITOVEMU (2) is a hardy veteran who was runner-up when resuming at Narrogin 9 days ago. A repeat of that effort could see him go one better here.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Undercover Sniper to win.
