COASTAL COMMERCIAL LININGS MAIDEN PLATE 1006m
Sagaponack is expected to lead at a keen tempo. ANGELS CLOUD (6) resumed from a spell last start with a sound third over 1010m at this track after being in contention on the corner. Well placed and expected to go close with the claim. SAGAPONACK (9) met with solid support when resuming last start over 1012m at Taree when fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Can atone. RAW GOLD (2) just missed last time when a neck away in second at Taree over 1012m. Should be in the finish again. ULTIMATE REIGN (8) finished sixth over 1280m at Muswellbrook at her most recent appearance on February 3. Has switched to the Annette Lee stable. Comes here with definite top-three claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Angels Cloud to go close. |

DUDLEY MILLARD BREAKERS OLD BOYS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1509m
She's Enuff and The Coat Hanger to take it up. MERAPI (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 1.2 lengths over 1210m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement and will be a tough nut to crack again. UNINSURABAL (8) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when eighth, beaten 14 lengths, over 1624m at Taree. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. GOLDEN BREEZE (9) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Taree, finishing third and only 1.2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1270m. Looks well placed so expect a bold display. BETTER YET (1) set to peak and back in grade after running fifth over 1540m at the Gold Coast Poly. Each way player on the backup. SUGGESTED PLAY: Merapi to win. |

PRIOR MANAGEMENT GROUP CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1509m
Moderate pace only with Kobaytera leading Rudimentary. KOBAYTERA (4) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1210m at this track, scoring by 2 lengths. Re-unites with Luke Rolls who was on board last start. Nicely placed to double the win tally. UNCLE MOONLIGHT (2) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start when he did his best work late but found one better over 1200m at Tuncurry, beaten 2 lengths. Has the class to take this out. THIRTEENTH MAN (5) was beaten 6 lengths into seventh at the second run back from a break in a 1420m contest at Taree two weeks ago. Well placed to turn things around. REBEL ONE (6) an each way player. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,2,5. |

FASTPLAST BUILDING SUPPLIES MAIDEN PLATE 1509m
Reasonable tempo with Temple Bells probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. PERHAPS PERHAPS (6) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Marc Quinn yard. Resumes after finishing fifth at Pakenham Synthetic at her last run eight months ago. Ran fifth in a trial over 1000m at Port Macquarie and looks nicely placed. Key chance who will go close. HEART OF PLATINUM (9) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at Tuncurry after being prominent at the corner. This doesn't look as hard so she is a major player. FEARLESS BELLA (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Tuncurry, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects. JUSTIFIABLY (2) resumes. Strung together five straight placings prior to a spell. Probably wants further but still warrants thought in this line up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Perhaps Perhaps to win. |

SWR BUILDING SUPPLIES BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1812m
Even tempo with Charmed Destiny probably taking it up from a low draw in the absence of a genuine leader. CHARMED DESTINY (2) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being prominent at the bend over 2100m at Tuncurry, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. LAMPKIN LANE (4) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 1610m at Grafton when beaten a long neck. Looks tough to stop. ECLAIR DANCER (12) turned in a better run last start, beaten 3 lengths into fourth over 1624m at Taree. Nicely placed to find some form. DURUSEHVAR (6) next elect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Charmed Destiny to win. |

CASCADE POOL AND SPA CENTRE BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1106m
Expecting Old Timing Man to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. LORD AKOMEED (4) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success as public elect over 1270m at Taree two weeks ago, getting home by 0.6 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DON'T TELL JACK (3) was disappointing over 1012m at Taree last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. NAPOLI (6) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when fifth over 1270m at Taree. Has further improvement to come and looks set to find best form. SWEDEN (10) recorded his first win when resuming last start over 1012m at Taree, getting home by a neck. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Lord Akomeed. |
