Good early pressure anticipated with a large number of first starters. PRESTIGE SNITZEL (8) looks the one to beat on exposed form. Two starts to date, both at Flemington, the debut effort in the G3 Ottawa Stakes very solid behind Military Tycoon. Tried hard again last time and that experience should take her a long way here. TORONADO QUEEN (9) was a maiden winner on debut at Geelong, starting $21 but winning well. The second horse won at the midweeks to strengthen that form. KALEO (4) is a colt by Churchill on debut for the Maher yard who has jumped out well and must be respected. DIAMOND GUST (3) is a colt by Toronado on debut for the Laurie yard who can figure. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prestige Snitzel to win. |

A solid tempo anticipated with Divine Thoughts and Very Sewreel ahead of Suances and Matawai. MATAWAI (2) just on top. She's come back well, winning fresh and placing in two runs since. She tried hard behind the talented and unbeaten Proved at Sandown Hillside last time out when just edged out and that form should hold up nicely here. FEARLESS WRITER (3) is racing quite well without winning, not far away at Caulfield last time out when back to this trip. The time was strong there and should give her a good grounding for this. SIRIUS STATEMENT (4) is in good form, winning two of her past three, far too good for BM64 company last start at Pakenham. Can measure up. DIVINE THOUGHTS (6) has been solid in two runs back and should be ready to peak now. OUTCASTER (7) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Matawai to win. |

Expecting a strong gallop with Zweig and Reset The Jazz taking up the running over Verdad. Not a whole lot of winning done in this field in recent times. VERDAD (2) is the pinup for that crew but does hold the most recent victory, scoring nicely two back at Flemington to break a run of outs. Struggled last time on the sticky Moonee Valley track, he should set up nicely here in a winnable race. FIASCO TESS (8) is knocking on the door having just found one better her past two. She gets in with 53kg here and looks well placed. EUPHORIC (4) has been solid in two runs back, chasing Is It Me and Verdad for a pair of fifth placings. Should be ready to fire now. CHIHULY (7) struggled fresh but can improve, as can RESET THE JAZZ (6) who was off a very long spell at Sandown Hillside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Verdad on top. |

Enchanted Adventure Handicap 2000m
Genuine tempo from Golden Crusader leading Promises Kept. IMMEDIACY (4) did enough first up at Flemington behind the smart Enxuto when working to the line nicely for sixth, running some sharp late splits. Suited up to 2000m now, it's worth noting he was backed off the map at G3 level second up last time in. FOUJITA SAN (3) is going well, strong late at Rosehill two back and good again last time when just missing in the G3 Easter Cup. That looks nice form for this. SAVOIR FAIRE (7) was much better at Moonee Valley last time, albeit with things to suit, only edged out late over 2040m. Gets in very light here and can figure. PROMISES KEPT (2) is off 40 days for this having not seen out 3200m of the G2 Adelaide Cup last time. He was racing well in Tasmanian Cups prior and that's good enough for feature here. GOLDEN CRUSADER (8) can give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Immediacy to win. |

Gracie's Rain and Chinqui possess good early speed. Tricky affair. CHINQUI (4) was a strong winner two back at Caulfield Heath in good time which saw her start $4 in a stronger race at Caulfield, leading early before fading to finish fifth. Drops back a fair way for this and will take plenty of catching. GRACIE'S RAIN (1) is flying having won her past two, scoring easily in the country at prohibitive quotes. Harder here but she's capable. SILENCIO PORFAVOR (9) is lightly raced and could be a sharp improver. KRYSANOVA (7) the best of the each way hopefuls. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chinqui to win. |

Anticipate a moderate tempo is a race devoid of recognised speedsters. VESTAS (1) was disappointing first up behind star NZ filly Alabama Lass at Flemington but got back in an on-pace dominated race and simply couldn't get close. She'd jumped out well leading in and has the class to beat these if she can bounce back. THAMES (5) has placed in all three runs this time in. Beaten half a length by Zloties two back is good form for this and she tried hard again last time. If she can just settle closer, she'll be awfully hard to beat. MCKEYLA (2) is racing consistently and should be thereabouts. CHEWING GUM (6) could be an improver off a more genuine speed. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vestas to win. |

Genuine tempo from Fear No Evil leading Mollify. MOVIN OUT (11) switches down from Sydney to tackle a far easier assignment having failed to make an impression in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes behind star filly Treasurethe Moment last time out. The run fresh when charging home in a farcically run G2 Phar Lap Stakes was very good and would likely win this. SNEAKY SUNRISE (2) has been around the mark this time in. The run two back, also behind Treasurethe Moment, in a strongly run G2 Kewney Stakes, is great form for this. Hard to hold out. STORM SEASON (14) reeled off good splits to win fresh at Pakenham and was heavily backed at Flemington, unsuited there. Could be an improver. MARY ELIZA (9) is a well bred filly resuming. She's got ability, don't discount. FEAR NO EVIL (7) can give a sight again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Movin Out to win. |

Just Fine, Bankers Choice and Smokin' Romans to roll forward and set up a solid tempo. Tipping JUST FINE (1) in the Cup. He made nice improvement second up when able to lead and control a slow speed in the G3 Neville Selwood, really making Ceolwulf stretch to get the better of him. Had the favours there but his racing pattern means he'll get them more often than not. BERKSHIRE BREEZE (6) is tricky. He's racing very well but has been ridden negatively this time in and been left with too much to do. Had a great duel with Deakin last time, he just needs to be ridden aggressively from the wide gate. QUE TEMPESTA (2) has been sound in two runs back from a spell and should be ready to peak out to 2400m. BANKERS CHOICE (4) is flying although had the softest of runs last time to win narrowly. NIGHT ENDEAVOR (9) was good fresh and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Just Fine to win. |

Genuine tempo with The Instructor and War Machine up front. Giving OSCAR'S FORTUNE (1) one last chance. He resumed for the new stable who were confident he'd run well but 1000m down the Flemington straight with top weight probably wasn't his scenario. Has to give these weight as well but it does look easier and 1200m around a bend, he can do much better. Scared of WAR MACHINE (4) who has plenty of talent. He was winning the Bendigo Guineas this time last year and ran well in some top races thereafter. Down with 54kg, he's a huge chance. THE INSTRUCTOR (9) had everything in his favour fresh at Moonee Valley but won easily and has to be respected. HEDGED (2) was sound at Moonee Valley first up and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Oscar's Fortune. |

Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Prancing Spirit a potential leader. Tricky finish. PRANCING SPIRIT (2) ran a good race last time at Caulfield, beaten just a head by Heart Of Glass in a good effort. The run three back at Caulfield also reads well for this and if things go his way he'll be very hard to hold out. NAMESAKE (8) also comes through the Heart Of Glass race, beaten 1.2 lengths into third there. He's going well and should take beating. WALLENDA (3) was a smart winner two back in this grade at Randwick Kensington, even last time down the Flemington straight. Back to 1200m here can suit better. Expect improvement from HARRY GOT STYLES (4) second up and dropping back in grade. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Prancing Spirit. |
