Maiden Race 1200m
HARMONY SONG (10) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1200m at this track, beaten only half a length after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. DONA CARNAVAL (5) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing third and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Has upside and must be respected. SING A SONG (9) finished second last start over 1200m at this track to make it three minor placings from seven runs. Has a sound record here with two top-three finishes from three starts. Great chance to break through. SISTER (4) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 14 lengths behind the winner in fifth over 1200m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement. Not to be discounted. |

Maiden Race 1800m
SCORPION IMERU (6) did a good job last start to finish second at Chukyo Dirt over 1900m, beaten a neck. Starting to put it all together now. Bold showing expected. CALF KICK (1) wasn't far off maiden success before an eleven-week break, finishing strongly to grab a minor placing over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Tackling a longer journey this time. Good chance to open this campaign on a winning note. LIZARD ISLAND (4) debuted three weeks ago when he finished seventh over 1800m at Nakayama, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well. LOGI AVANCER (9) finished 7 lengths away in fifth at his last appearance over 1800m at this track on March 23. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. |

Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. SHONAN RALLY (8) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1200m at this track when seventh, beaten 7 lengths. Deserves another chance. ALPINE HUT (10) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last time over 1200m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. KOSOKU GROOVE (15) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat. |

Maiden Race 1800m
ALTITUDE (13) returns after three-and-a-half months in the paddock. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Nakayama over 2000m. Can make a winning return in what looks a very shallow maiden. MEISHO KOBE (4) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1800m at this track. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. The logical danger. HO O SANSAR (1) didn't do a lot on debut three weeks ago, finishing 11 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1800m at this track. Will take a lot from that experience and is worth each-way consideration. ASKCOMMENTALLEZVOU (6) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in fifth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Capable of a top four finish in this company. |

Maiden Race 1600m
REVERBERATE (7) was prominent in running on debut three-and-a-half months ago and battled on well for second over 2000m at Chukyo. Has not been produced since. Likely improver and should be in the finish again. TREVI (1) returns from a twelve-week break. Only raced once last prep and finished second over 1600m at this track. Should be in this for a long way. TAIKI BRIGHTON (11) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 3 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1800m at this track. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. TERUKEN YUMIKAGURA (8) resumes from a spell of ten weeks. Could only manage to finish eighth at the latest run over 1600m at Tokyo. Can progress this time in work. |

Allowance Race 1800m
MIKKI MADONNA (4) ran a strong race first up then tackled stakes-class last time and finished fifth over 1800m in the G3 Flower Cup at this track. Looks the goods in this far easier assignment. NOBILISSIMA VISION (6) did her best work late and got up for third when resuming over today's trip at this track last start. Suited by the small field so expect her to be right in the finish. ZARATAN (5) progressed nicely last time out when she did her best work late to finish just 1.1 lengths from the winner in third over 1600m at Chukyo. Has the talent to build on that encouraging effort last start. SHONAN SOMEDAY (7) was well in the market when resuming last start but failed to threaten when a disappointing fifth at this track over 2000m. Worth noting her strong second-up record. Should be in the mix. |

Allowance Race 2000m
FORLANINI (14) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Only raced once last campaign which was a narrow defeat over 1800m at Tokyo. Handy four-year-old who has only missed the placings once in seven starts. Best form puts him right in this. ELAN (7) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 2000m at Kokura, beaten 3.5 lengths. Likely contender at the third run back. FINAL HEAT (6) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 2000m at Chukyo, a big improvement on the other two runs this prep. Will be winding up late again. TOUCH AND MOVE (3) performed above expectations when resuming last time over 2000m at Chukyo, finishing 1.1 lengths from the winner in fourth after starting at big odds. Can play a role again. |

Likely contender with that run under his belt. MARINE BUNKER (4) ran above expectations and got up for third at long odds at his latest appearance at this track over 1800m. Good signs last time and can play a major role. MAGMA OCEAN (14) resumed over 2400m at Tokyo last start when he sat close to the lead before fading in the straight to finish 11th, beaten 5.5 lengths. SODEGAURA TOKUBETSU 1200m
RED EVANS (2) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the corner before winding up in third over 1200m at Hanshin, beaten 0.6 lengths. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. KHALEESI (6) was well fancied last time and did a good job to finish second over 1200m at this track at the third run of the prep. Winning rider Akira Sugawara stays aboard. Should be in the finish. PIKO ARGYLE (4) made progress last start to finish third over 1200m at this track. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. SUPERMAN (5) ran a better race when second-up last start, finishing 3.5 lengths away in fourth over 1200m at this track. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect. |

SHIMOUSA STAKES 1800m
TERRIFIC PLAN (13) found a couple better when resuming last start at Kyoto Dirt over this distance. Has found the frame in all four starts at this journey, including two wins. Should be poised just off the lead and give a great sight. KOTOHODO SAYONI (6) returns from a layoff of four months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Has found a suitable race to launch this prep. UNGAISOTEN (10) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance six-and-a-half months ago over 1800m at this track. Definite top-three chance. LOGI ADELAIDE (7) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1800m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Will strip fitter this time. Anticipating another strong effort. |

THE NAKAYAMA GRAND JUMP(J . G1) 4260m
JUNE VELOCITY (4) returned from a spell last start with a solid second in a G2 steeplechase (3900m) at Hanshin with today's rider Kazuma Mori steering. Big chance to take this out and grab a long overdue Grade 1 success. SMILE THROUGH (6) returns from a break of two months. Raced once last campaign and won a Gr 3 3390m steeplechase at Kokura by half a length to add to an already solid first-up record. Biggest test to date but looks up to the task. IMPRESS (8) up significantly in class this time after a win in a steeplechase (3350m) at this track at his latest appearance on March 22. Partnered again by Kayata Komaki who is building a great record when aboard. Capable of taking this out. ECORO DUEL (7) has a touch of class, with two placings at this level to his name. Fair effort when resuming in a Gr 2 here last start. Likely improver. |

KATSUSHIKA TOKUBETSU 1200m
LOS ANGELES (4) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by 3 lengths over today's journey at this track. That continued a good record at this course and distance. Can go on with it. RURAL HAPPINESS (7) turned in a solid fresh performance last start when a minor placegetter over 1200m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Has a solid second-up record and has plenty of upside with the run under her belt. Leading chance. TESSERA LIEN (15) is back after a break of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1200m at this track. Makes plenty of appeal. MEISHO YERKES (14) is back from a break of three-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt. Can make his presence felt. |
