ARTHUR'S KINGDOM (8) bolted in over this course and distance two starts ago when winning by 2L but was beaten the same margin over 2000m at Sha Tin most recently. Back to the scene of the crime and Teetan hops back in the saddle from a nice draw. Finds a suitable race to get back to winning ways. GO GO GO (5) has been following Arthur's Kingdom home of late, finishing behind him his past two outings. He meets the top pick better at the weights this time and Zac Purton hops back in the saddle. Can turn the tables this time around. RELIABLE PROFIT (3) steps out to this trip for the first time after a disappointing effort over the mile most recently. He maps for a cosy run in transit and sharp improvement wouldn't surprise. KINGLY DEMEANOR (2) improved last start and the extra furlong doesn't appear an issue. Can be in the mix once again. |

ROARING BEBE (3) is ready to do something now after a 49-day break following a 1.8L defeat at this course and distance. He's been back to the trials since that effort where he has looked good, and Purton remains in the saddle with the winkers going on first time. Can raise the bar now. THE PERFECT MATCH (1) got the job done narrowly over this course and distance, arriving right on the post. He's had an easy trial since then and while he does rise in weight, the win suggested there was more to come from the 3YO. Can go on with the job. COSMO NAVIGATOR (6) ended up 1.3L off the winner last start at this track and trip when jumping a $4.90 chance. His recent performances stack up nicely in this field and the tongue tie is applied for today's assignment. Racing well and has his hoof on the till. HAYDAY (5) led all the way to win two back before bumping into a smart one most recently. Can take up the running and take plenty of catching. |

BEAS RIVER HANDICAP 1650m
COMET SPLENDIDO (1) can go on with the job following a 0.3L victory at this track and trip a fortnight ago. Zac Purton hops in the saddle this time around and he has steered this fellow to victory previously. May need some luck in running, but if he gets the splits, he'll be hard to hold out. PATCH OF TIME (9) returned in good order over 1400m at Sha Tin and looks ready for this trip now. He was 2.5L away there, but the first-up figure rates highly in this event and he maps to get every chance under Teetan. Can improve now and shed the maiden tag without surprising. RED MAJESTY (2) drops back into C4 for today's assignment and is a course and distance specialist. Notably, Bowman hops off Comet Splendido to ride this fellow who has had a quiet trial since his latest effort. Expecting a sharp turnaround in his form. CORDYCEPS ONE (4) will appreciate dropping back to this trip and can bounce back to form. |

LEAN MASTER (2) has been impressive his last few outings, leading all the way to score here 35 days ago as an odds-on favourite. He only rises 1kg today after the claim of Wong and he should be prominent from the outset from an inside alley. Can take up the running again and prove hard to reel in. DENFIELD (1) didn't have the best of luck here last 49 days ago and has been back to the trials a couple times since to keep him up to the mark. Bowman hops in the saddle now and while the barrier is awkward, he'll be fighting out the finish with a touch more luck in transit this time. FAIRY HORSE (8) is inching closer to his maiden victory following a solid effort here 21 days ago, running on to be 1.5L away at the finish. Continually improving and a maiden win isn't far away. ONE FOR ALL (3) can improve now third-up into the campaign and he loves this track and trip. Include. |

THE PEARCE MEMORIAL CHALLENGE CUP (HANDICAP) 1650m
I CAN (1) may need a touch of luck from the outside alley, but his recent form warrants him being at the pointy end of the market in this. He's raced well here his past three starts and the Pierre Ng barn is flying of late. Racing well and looks to have found a winnable event. ATOMIC BEAUTY (4) finished behind I Can most recently over this course and distance in what was a disappointing effort for him. Avdulla has options from the wide draw and he'll take plenty of beating if he can bounce back to form. CAN'T GO WONG (5) is hard to knock on recent form, finishing close on a number of occasions lately. The booking of Teetan is a welcomed addition and he can be handy in the run. Sure to run up to his recent form and make his presence felt. SETANTA (2) flashed home from the back last start and is expected to be coming home with a wet sail once again. |

PACKING HERMOD (5) has made an impression at the trials, winning his most recent against horses racing in higher grade than this. Zac Purton has been on board for a couple of those trials and he remains with the 3YO for his debut. Can make a winning start to his career. PRIME MORTAR (2) won well here two back before a disappointing effort on the All Weather surface most recently. Pulled up with an issue there and he's now 28 days between runs. Can be positive from the inside alley and make his presence felt coming back to this track and trip. MR GOOD VIBES (11) ran over the top to score impressively in easier grade at Sha Tin most recently, winning by 1.3L in fine style. This is tougher, but he drops 6kigs for this assignment. Recent trial was just fair, but if he can run up to his last start figures, he'll go close to winning again. TALENTS SUPREMO (9) will be coming home with a head full of steam and Teetan hopping back on board is a big tick. |

COPARTNER PRANCE (3) made it five in-a-row last start at Sha Tin with a gutsy performance against some handy gallopers, winning by 0.2L. He draws better this time around and while he does rise in grade, he's obviously a very smart racehorse. Can stalk a solid tempo and power over the top late. SUPERB CAPITALIST (1) is looking for the hat-trick following an all-the-way 1.3L victory here 35 days ago. He's trialled well since that effort and he should be prominent again with the inside alley. Expecting him to take plenty of catching. SING DRAGON (8) was a little plain last start and comes back to The Valley for this event. Racing well though and must be included along with GUMMY GUMMY (5) whose recent form puts him right into winning calculations. |

HELENE WARRIOR (5) turned in an impressive performance over this track and trip last start, bolting in by 2L. He only rises 1.5kg for the win and he maps to get a similar run in transit this time around. Building nicely since arriving in Hong Kong and can bring up back-to-back victories. CHAIN OF GOLD (12) closed off strongly from the back to finish 3.3L off Helene Warrior last start and now gets Karis Teetan in the saddle. He gets the winkers applied again today and he can settle closer than he did last start. Big chance at the bottom of the weights. GALLANT WAKING (4) was plain here last time out but is better than what he showed that day. Drawn well again today and Chau is fresh off a winning treble at Sha Tin on Sunday. Can make his presence felt. BEAUTY INFINITY (8) wasn't suited by the tempo last time out and it'll be interesting to see if Purton adopts different tactics. Can bounce back in a big way, nonetheless. |

KA YING CHEER (9) has been close his past few over this track and trip, but gets plenty of favours today with the aid of an inside alley. He won't have to do as much work as we've seen in recent efforts and Badel has been riding well without winning lately. Still has plenty of upside and he can notch up another win in this suitable race. CALIFORNIA DEEPLY (7) gets Purton in the saddle following a 0.3L defeat here a fortnight ago. He's a hard horse to catch and hasn't won for 560 days now, but trust Purton to get things right and he'll be launching late in the race. KAHOLO ANGEL (1) is never far away and proved that last start when running on strongly from the tail of the field to just miss. The form out of that event has already stood up and he draws a better gate this time around. Can go a couple better without surprising. A AMERIC TE SPECSO (3) can be flashing late with Avdulla hopping back into the saddle. |
