NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:24 AMELIA PARK PLATE 1200m
Expecting Supido Express to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. The 2YO's kick off proceedings. ELITE MISSILE (1) was far too good over 1400m here a fortnight ago and drops back in trip for today's assignment. The wide draw is no issue as he tends to get back anyway, and Parnham should be able to blend into the race when he needs to. Just has to run up to his latest effort to be winning again. ZIPPY ZANY (5) jumped favourite at this track and trip 10 days ago where she was edged out narrowly. She drops in weight today as this is a stronger race, but she maps for a beautiful run and a win is right on her doorstep. ROCKIN' ROBIN (3) stuck on well in soft conditions at Bunbury on debut. CJP hops in the saddle this time from an inside alley, and he should be both fitter and more experienced for that run. Can make his presence felt. SUPIDO EXPRESS (2) just beat Zippy Zany last start and has to be included despite meeting her worse at the weights. SPANGLEDSTAR (9) caught the eye first-up and can improve.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Elite Missile in the first.
2 12:01 FREE ENTRY TO BELMONT PARK HANDICAP 1400m
Pressure on from word go with Savage One and Fine Touch handlebars down ahead of Tiff's Lad and Investmentstrategy. INVESTMENTSTRATEGY (2) returned for just one run last campaign, finishing 0.8L away in the Challenge Stakes at Listed level where he jumped favourite. He's trialled well in readiness for this and he has placed 2/3 fresh. Drawn ideally and if he can return in similar vein, he'll take plenty of beating. DANCE BOSS (7) just missed in a photo finish last time out when running on strongly from the tail of the field. Drawn much better this time around and can sit closer than we've seen in recent runs. CJP rides again and he can return to winning form. SAPPHIRE STREET (3) was strong from the back in the Belmont Guineas last week following a good effort in the Raconteur prior. This is easier though and she's expected to go close to winning. CELEBRITY PRINCE (6) just edged out Dance Boss last start and draws nicely down low. Can go back-to-back without surprising.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Investment Strategy can win on resumption.
3 12:41 CELEBRATING RACEHORSE OWNER GRANT BURGESS HANDICAP 1300m
No place for the faint-hearted with My Hidden Universe and Call Again getting along early. SENTIMENTAL BELLE (8) just missed in heavy going first-up, but made amends as favourite most recently at Bunbury 17 days ago. This is tougher, but the booking of CJP suggests she's ready to fire third-up and she maps for a better run this time. Can bring up back-to-back wins. MY HIDDEN UNIVERSE (4) has resumed in grand style, posting back-to-back wins by big spaces in the process. He has the speed to get across from the wide alley and while this is a rise in grade, he still has plenty of upside. Can win again. VILLAGE GIRL (10) has been right on the cusp all campaign, going under by 0.3L most recently over this course and distance. She's now 486 days without a win, but her hoof is on the till and she rates a winning hope in this event. Must be included. HIDDEN RUBY (7) has been impressive her past couple in Kalgoorlie and isn't without a hope if she can bring that form to town. ANOTHER STRIKE (1) was good from the back last start and has claims.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sentimental Belle can win again.
4 01:19 DRUMMOND GOLF HANDICAP 1000m
Strong early tempo with Bayezid leading the way over Final Authority. BAYEZID (1) led all the way to score by 1.5L in a similar race first-up at this track and trip. He's been kept fresh since that effort and while he does rise in weight, Derrick's claim and the inside draw should see him very hard to catch once again. LOST GRAVITY (7) rattled home from the tail of the field to score by 0.4L down the Pinjarra straight just 9 days ago. Suspect he ends up toward the rear once again, but his recent efforts stack up well in this field. Can be in the finish if he runs up to form. CAPRE OMNIA (2) won well here two back, beating Lost Gravity in the process before a disappointing effort behind Bayezid most recently. Can turn his form around with the aid of a handy barrier. UNIVERSAL PLAYBOY (8) won a recent trial impressively and is worth including in his first run for the Barton stable.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Bayezid can go back-to-back.
5 01:54 MRS MAC'S HANDICAP 1400m
The speedy Our Rocky Bay should find the front with Lost City and Prospector's Pick on his heels. OBJECTIFY (5) has built an impressive record, running over the top to score by 1.5L over 1200m last time out. The rise in trip doesn't appear an issue judging by her racing pattern and she should get every chance from the alley this time. She's an exciting prospect going forward and she can get the job done once again. LOST CITY (4) was too far back to make an impact most recently when beaten 3L behind Objectify. She too should be suited by the rise in distance and she ticks plenty of boxes with an inside alley and CJP in the irons. Can settle closer this time and turn the tables. PROSPECTOR'S PICK (10) couldn't have been more impressive when bolting in by 3.7L over 1200m at Pinjarra just 9 days ago. He appears to be improving rapidly and the fact Chris Parnham sticking is a positive sign and he can put his best foot forward. OUR ROCKY BAY (3) should be fitter again following a good effort last start and the extra journey suits. Include. LORD LALA (2) won't be far away.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Objectify can bring up a winning hat-trick.
6 02:44 PETERS INVESTMENTS HANDICAP 2200m
Solid tempo with Tallangatta to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. TALLANGATTA (3) took plenty of catching last start when only grabbed on the post, beaten a head in a gutsy effort. He draws a better gate this time and he'll roll forward and make his own luck again. This is an easier grade of race and if he runs to his recent form, he should be getting back to winning ways. HIS EMINENCE (9) ran over the top to score narrowly as a 5-1 chance over 2100m here 10 days ago. Despite the good draw, he is likely to get back which is a niggle, though his best ratings stack up nicely in this field and he's sure to make his presence felt. KISSES FROM KELLY (2) was too good when winning a Cl3 here 10 days over the 2100m journey, getting away to win by 0.7L on the line. He maps for a similar run this time around and he should be hitting his peak now fourth-up. He'll be right in the finish. ARNRAY (5) wasn't far away last start at Bunbury and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Tallangatta gets the nod.
7 03:20 TABTOUCH - WESTSPEED PLATINUM WINTER SERIES FINAL 1400m
From the inside gate El Patron has enough dash to hold the lead, joined by Bird's The Word who won't give it up easily. VALDARENA (10) disappointed over this course and distance last start, finishing 4.8L off the winner. Her form prior was much better and overlooking one poor run looks the play. She has won on the quick back up previously and she still has plenty of upside. Can get back to winning ways. BIRD'S THE WORD (4) was only caught close to the line last start when sitting up on the speed. He should take up a front running position once again and the fact Chris Parnham sticks is a positive sign. Can make his presence felt if he runs up to recent efforts. SPECIAL SORT (2) returned in good order but was a little disappointing from the back last start at this course and distance. He should be improved third-up into the campaign and a drop back in grade looks to suit. Can put his best foot forward. EL PATRON (7) hasn't been far away throughout his last few runs and should get every chance from the draw. Include. RULING DAME (12) can improve off a solid first-up effort.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Valdarena.
8 04:00 ACCOLADE WINES HANDICAP 1600m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Filthy Habits leading the way. KINGS SALUTE (12) stepped out to 1400m last start and bolted in, scoring by 1.5L and now steps out to the mile for the first time. The way he won last start suggests the extra furlong won't matter and he should get every chance from an inside alley. He looks a progressive type, and back-to-back wins is on the cards. ANTIQUE MISS (5) rounded them up with ease in easier grade last time out, scoring by 2.8L over 1650m. The wide draw may see her a long way back, but Campbell's claim gets her in nicely at the weights and she's unbeaten at the trip. Should be right in the mix again. CHOLLIMA (9) steps out to this distance for the first time which may suit her based on her racing pattern. Brad Parnham takes the ride now and she still has upside being lightly raced. Has always hinted she's better than she's shown, and today may be the day for her to showcase that.  SUGGESTED PLAY: King's Salute can go back-to-back.
9 04:36 SWAN DRAUGHT HANDICAP 1200m
With no recognised leader engaged it might be left to Bondi Bubbles, All Day Session and Honey Dew to control the tempo. JUSTABITTAPRESS (14) disappointed a little last start but bumped into a strong race in the process. His runs prior suggested he was on an upward trajectory, and everything points to him returning to his prior form. Can get back to winning ways. ROCKIN' RUPERT (1) ran over the top to win impressively in an easier race last time out. Derrick's claim comes in handy, though things may get a little sticky from the draw if she's not careful. Hard to knock his recent form though and he appears the main danger. VAMPI AT PLAY (11) finished 2L behind Rockin' Rupert last start but does meet that galloper much better at the weights today. Nicely drawn to take up a midfield position and she's expected to be in the thick of the action close to home. RUMOUR SAYS (6) is 0/5 at this trip which is a big niggle, though she hits this third-up and with CJP in the saddle. Worth including. BONDI BUBBLES (2) pulled up lame on resumption and a much better performance is expected today.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Justabittapress can win the last.
