NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:43 TATTERSALL'S LIFE MEMBERS QTIS 3YO Fillies Plate 1200m
Strong early tempo with Navyonthehighway and Tiger Shark leading the way over Outweighed. The 3YO fillies kick us off. PURE PARADISE (2) grows a leg for Shinn who has had two victories from as many steers and has been competing in tougher company down south. Was only a couple of lengths away in a Group 2 at Caulfield last preparation and has won two from three over the trip. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. Group 2 placegetter CIGAR FLICK (4) just missed the placings at Canterbury last time out following a dominant Rosehill win two back. Has a bit of class over this field and looms as the main danger. Former Kiwi CASSIERE (11) just ran into one better at her Australian debut and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Definite top-three prospects. NAVYONTHEHIGHWAY (9) hasn't done anything wrong winning both starts to date, albeit in lesser grade. Hard to ignore winning form. TIGER SHARK (3) is a bit of a hit or miss type but can play a role if she brings her A-game.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Pure Paradise to win.
2 12:18 IMPRESSU PRINT GROUP TATTERSALL'S STAKES 1400m
Slick pace with Steel Strike finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. The Listed Tattersall's Stakes for the babies. STEEL STRIKE (2) hails from a handy family (full to 2xG1 winner September Run) and put the writing on the wall for this with a strong Canterbury win last time out. Will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory and Clark sticks in the irons. The step-up in trip looks ideal and must be respected from the Waterhouse/Bott barn. DEPTH OF CHARACTER (1) wasn't disgraced here in Listed company at the latest effort and gets a jockey upgrade in the form of McDonald. Has to be included. HEINOUS (5) made up plenty of ground last time and should get a soft run in transit from gate two. Top-three candidate. MISS TRUSTFUL (6) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is a must for the multiples. RUN LUCY RUN (10) best of the rest in a race with only a handful of chances.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Steel Strike to win again.
3 12:53 EDWARD STREET BENCHMARK 85 Handicap 1200m
Sea Raider can take up the running in a race devoid of a notable leader. MILLANE (4) was a real eye-catcher last start making up a stack of ground late to finish second here. Loves this track and trip with two wins and four placings from just seven outings and should be right there at the business end. HIDDEN WEALTH (11) beat Millane here last time out and Berry sticks in the saddle. Rates a serious contender on that form. GO WANDJI (1) gets some weight relief with the claim and looks one for the exotics. PIZARRO (8) usually reliable type who ran well below his best last start when back in eighth over 1200m at this track. Has ability and can return to form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Millane to win.
4 01:28 2024 LADBROKES BATTLE OF THE BUSH FINAL NMW-Last 2 Yrs Qlty Hcp (SC) 1200m
This will be a keen early contest, with Parko and Masterplan prominent. The $200,000 Battle Of The Bush. THE CARPENTER (11) has hit a purple patch of form this preparation stringing four wins together on the bounce and is racing with a lot of confidence. Hoopert is two from two in the saddle and drawn to get a gun run from gate five. Looks the one they all have to run down. PARKO (9) has won two from four this campaign and has placed over this track and trip. Right in this. ART BY CONCORDE (2) is one from one over this course and distance and has a solid winning strike rate. Has to be included. MASTERPLAN (15) has been thereabouts in recent efforts and may earn some minor money. JACK BE LUCKY (12) loves this journey and can trouble the judge with any luck in running.  SUGGESTED PLAY: The Carpenter to continue the picket fence.
5 02:07 HMW GROUP TATTERSALL'S GOLD CROWN 2143m
Extraordinaire and Deny Knowledge are likely to pair-off in front at a reasonable clip. The well-related PRINCESS RHAENYS (4) (full to ATC Derby Winner Jon Snow) got the chocolates here over 1810m last time out and now steps up to the 2143m. Gets Shinn on from the inside marble and will be at peak fitness now fourth-up. Can continue on her winning ways. Group 3 winner THALASSOPHILE (2) hasn't been too far off them in good company of late and has a bit of class on this field. Goes well for McDonald and looks a serious candidate. DENY KNOWLEDGE (1) is having her first run for the new stable and any market support should be noted. AWESOME WONDER (5) has a win and a second from two attempts at the journey and doesn't know how to run a bad race. In the mix. SUNSET SOIREE (11) next in line.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Princess Rhaenys to win again.
6 02:47 MOTORAMA TATTERSALL'S CUP 2400m
Pace looks strong with Almairac pressing on from an outside draw, joining Spirit Ridge. The $200,000 Group 3 Tattersall's Cup. Group 3 winner KNIGHT'S CHOICE (7) has been right there in all three runs this preparation and may have found his race here. Placed two from three around this circuit and draws perfectly in gate two for Dolan. Looks the one to beat in this contest. YOUNG WERTHER (9) doesn't win out of turn but has placed over this track and trip and Shinn reunites. Can feature in the finish. SERPENTINE (4) failed last time but the form prior was good enough to play a role in the outcome in this. Worth another chance. Melbourne Cup winner VOW AND DECLARE (1) has shown glimpses of form this time in and looks one for the exotics. SPIRIT RIDGE (5) will be rock-hard fit and can trouble the judge on best form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Knight's Choice to salute.
7 03:23 TATTERSALL'S MILE 1600m
Iknowastar and Cocobrew Express have good gate speed and should be able to cross and vie for early honours. The $160,000 Listed Tattersall's Mile. IKNOWASTAR (5) loves the mile journey with six wins and two placings from just nine attempts and will be rock-hard fit for this. Should be able to cross from the wide alley and will take plenty of catching. COTTEE (14) has won over this track and trip and gets in well at the weights. Top-three credentials. CHARTERHOUSE (4) strips fitter third-up from the break and must be respected from the Maher camp. In the mix. Group 2 winner NEW MANDATE (2) gets the deadly Waller/McDonald combination and can earn some minor money from the low draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Iknowastar to win.
8 03:58 TATTERSALL'S TIARA 1400m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Zoe's Promise and Bubble Rock matching motors. The $700,000 Group 1 Tattersall's Tiara. Hard to go past the well-traveled BELLA NIPOTINA (1) who is yet to put in a poor run this campaign and will appreciate the Weight For Age here. Certainly wasn't disgraced when second in the Stradbroke at the latest effort and has an edge over most of these. Only needs some luck from the carpark draw to be playing a major role in the finish. The well-related C'EST MAGIQUE (8) (half to G1 winner and stallion Written By) returned in fine fashion winning the G2 Dane Ripper and McDonald stays on board. Can go onto to better things this preparation. SEMANA (2) has a handy second-up record with two wins and a placing from just three attempts and can improve enough to feature in the outcome. Worth another chance. ROLL ON HIGH (15) gets winning hoop Duric back on from the low draw and cannot be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Bella Nipotina to cap off her campaign with another G1 win.
9 04:35 EUREKA STUD W.J. HEALY STAKES 1200m
Solid tempo set by Zarastro and Prince Of Boom who are both capable of leading. The $200,000 Group 3 W.J Healy Stakes. ALL THAT PIZZAZZ (2) loves this circuit with two wins and two seconds from just five starts and just missed the placings in a tougher G2 Moreton Cup at the latest outing. Should be at his peak now fourth-up and gets McDonald on to navigate from the sticky barrier. Will be right there at the business end. IOWNA MERC (14) has been in the mix in Listed contests of late and should get a soft run in transit from the low draw. Cannot be ignored. TASHI (12) is a very consistent conveyance who doesn't know how to run a bad race. Has to be included in multiples. MISHANI SNIPER (11) has been thereabouts in recent outings and may earn some minor money. KING KAPA (9) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: All That Pizzazz to win.
