NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:34 Perpetual Tricia Nan OBrien QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1200m
Hell March should lead at a slick tempo. HELL MARCH (1) looks a strong chance to break through having finished second in his only two starts. He has led in both and, from a decent draw with Noel Callow aboard, expect him to prove hard to run down here. I'MA CHARMER (9) is a month between runs and back to 1200m after failing over 1350m from a wide draw at Ipswich last start. Finished fourth in a maiden here two starts ago and from barrier one with a light weight she gets a chance to be in the mix here. BELLA KHADIJAH (2) was only 4 lengths off smart colt Switzerland when finishing third on debut at Randwick in January before finishing down the track in Inglis Millennium. Has trialled nicely enough and looks one of the leading contenders. A ROYAL SORT (7) is another likely improver that needs to be considered.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Hell March to win.
2 01:09 THE TERRIFIC TESS Maiden Handicap 1050m
Genuine pace with Mawsons Expedition taking up the running ahead of Dominance and Literacy. DOMINANCE (4) is yet to win from 18 starts but gets another great chance here. Couldn't match the turn of foot of Bremers but still ran well for second over this course and distance last start after leading. In nine starts at this track he's finished second six times and third once. From a soft draw, expect him to be in the finish again. MAWSONS EXPEDITION (2) has been chased down in his past couple, finishing 4th and 5th respectively in maidens at Coffs Harbour. Likely to press forward again from good draw here and expect him to be in it for a long way. LITERACY (6) finished 5th of 6 over 800m at Ipswich in her first Qld appearance last start and could improve here. Was placed at Goulburn over 1000m last year and on best figures is right in this. Lightly raced VELOCE METEOR (3) was unplaced first-up at Toowoomba over 1200m but is worth another chance here with Noel Callow jumping aboard from barrier one.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Happy to go with Dominance to win.
3 01:44 ROLLICKING RACHIE HARMSTON Maiden Handicap 2000m
The speedy Always Split Tens should find the front with Flamingo Beach and How Ya Been Anyway on his heels. HOW YA BEEN ANYWAY (3) rolled to the lead but then faded in the straight when finishing 10th of 12 in 1800m Sunshine Coast Mdn last start. Has placed in five of his past eight starts though and is worth another chance here up to 2000m third-up with Noel Callow aboard. Looks a winnable race for him. FLAMINGO BEACH (2) is a mare by Tarzino and steps to this distance for the first time. Open to more improvement in her third start and shapes as a genuine hope of last-start fifth in Doomben 1660m Mdn. MINISTER GARRETT (4) has been unplaced in three starts this preparation but looks better suited up to this distance range having placed three times between 2100m and 2220m in the past. SMOKIN MATCH (5) should be fitter again third-up and has top-three claims after finishing fourth at this track last start in 1540m Mdn on June 18. BETTER THAN LOVE (8) reared at the start but worked home nicely for 3rd in that same 1540m Mdn on June 18. From nice draw is worth consideration here.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with How Ya Been Anyway to win.
4 02:24 HARMY'S GOLDY FIVE-0 BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1050m
Clover's Prince andGhost Hunter to battle for the lead at a cracking tempo over this sprint journey. AIRSTRIKE (11) is on a 7-day back-up after sitting just off the lead and finishing 4th in this grade over 1200m here last week. Has been racing well lately without winning but from a low draw, down in the weights over the 1050m she looks a strong each-way chance. BAUHINIA ROCK (2) has a wide draw but should be fitter after finishing 3rd in this grade first-up. That was his first defeat in three attempts at this course and he is unbeaten in two previous second-up runs so has to be among the main chances. GET WHAT YOU GIVE (3) was out of the placings as a short-priced favourite here last start but he is a four-time winner this track and winkers go on for this. He's capable of figuring. Consider LADY SHOTGUN (10) for multiples.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Airstrike each-way.
5 03:04 QUEEN JEBBIE BENCHMARK 75 Handicap 1540m
Solid tempo expected primarily from This'llbetheone and Cinque Torri. THIS'LLBETHEONE (3) just edged out CINQUE TORRI (4) in Doomben 1650m Class 6 on June 12 and they look capable of fighting out the finish again here. Recent form of THIS'LLBETHEONE is hard to ignore with the gelding winning two of his past three, at Ipswich and Doomben. Looks hard to beat again. CINQUE TORRI meets him slightly better at the weights from last start so expect him to make his presence felt again. PERNELL (8) was fifth last week in 1200m Bm65 but is better suited over the 1540m. Has five wins and four placings from 13 attempts at this course and distance so has to be respected. JOVITA (7) was 4th in 1540m Bm70 here last start but had no luck in the straight when held up for clear running at crucial stages. Can bounce back. KORDIA (2) did his best work late for third in 1262m Bm62 at Taree last start and is in the mix despite wide draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: This'llbetheone to win.
6 03:39 THE ALEXIS AND VIVIEN HARMSTON BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 1200m
Dusky Dancer will likely press forward early from wide draw. NOBLE STYLE (6) looks suited in this grade on the Poly track where she races well. Has never missed a place in seven starts this track, including two wins. Won in BM62 grade here four starts ago before running in stronger grade races in recent runs. From the inside draw looks hard to beat. CLAUDIUS (12) only has one win from 42 starts but hit the line well in most recent outing for 5th in 1200m Class 1 at Doomben. Gets in with a light weight and certainly wouldn't shock to see him run home into the finish. COSMIC SERENADE (2) had also been entered for two races at Gatton and the BM65 here but this looks suitable. Placed in this grade here last start and gets Jag Guthmann-Chester on from a good draw. RAPID DUDE (11) was fifth in Lismore Class 1 last time and is in the mix on best figures. MISSION TO WIN (5) won on a maiden over the course and distance last September and is first-up since December. Third in a recent trial and should be ready for forward showing.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Happy to go with Noble Style to win.
7 04:15 THE ALCHEMY ASIA BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1900m
Strong early tempo with Von Bee leading the way over Hulkamania. IRENE'S BEST (9) turned in a flat performance last start when 5th in 1900m Bm62 here as favourite but her form before that was strong. Won well over this course and distance in Bm58 grade two starts ago and with three weeks between runs she can bounce back strongly here. BLUE AS BLUE (13) was strong late first-up to score a narrow but impressive Maiden win here over 1540m. Rise in distance should pose no problem and she looks capable of stepping up here. IMEZAAKI (6) has been unplaced in recent runs in NSW but was third in Group 3 Grand Prix this season and can give this a shake on best form. Last-start winner AIDEN (2) also holds strong appeal and is worth including.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Irene's Best.
