Global Thunder, Ice Star and Callmewhenuneedme to match motors but there will be plenty of pressure from other quarters. ICE STAR (2) has consistent form lines to her credit. She showed good speed over this distance last start but was claimed late and had to settle for second place. She likes the distance. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most. On top. GLOBAL THUNDER (1) finished seventh in the same race but not too far behind the top pick last time. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. If keeping on a straight line, she should be the main threat to that runner in this. AMBER ROCK (7) won a good race in her last start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. She finished third in her only attempt on this course. She rises in grade but is in a good space and should give another good account of herself. CALLMEWHENUNEEDME (4) is better than her last start as the jockey reported something to be amiss. If finding the form of her penultimate run, she can figure in the finish at some each-way value.
