ROSE PARADE (3) finished ninth when resuming from a spell last start over 1500m at this track. Has a very strong second-up record and expected to feature. SPARKING BLUE (4) is in fine form, filling a minor placing again last start over 1500m at this track to make it four top-three finishes on the trot. Kodai Asano who has two wins when partnering stays on. One of the contenders. REGINA NOUVEAU (10) raced below her best last time when ninth over 1700m at this track. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
