Both his career victories have come over this distance and has winning claims here. GUERRA (8) ran a good race when second over 1400m on the turf last time. Rates well as an each-way chance. DOWNING SEVEN (2) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1900m at this track, finishing 6 lengths back in seventh. Has the talent to take care of this field. INDY VIEW (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when ninth over 1900m at this track. Cherry-ripe now and should prove hard to beat.
