Moderate tempo with Glengarry leading the way. DWINDLING SPIRIT (1) peaks and brings strong form from Ipswich. Damien Thornton stays aboard and the Munce-trained galloper is suited in country grade. Stepping up to the 1500m should be an issue. HELEN'S DREAM (12) had been knocking on the door before a plain run at Ipswich from a wide barrier. Draws awkwardly again but is better suited here and has been kept on the fresh side. BULL DIMPLE RUM (5) has been around the mark and found a place at Gatton. Peaks and the blinkers are applied again. Las a low barrier and would be a chance at best. LIVINGSTONES (9) has the rail and has been racing without success on the Gold Coast poly. Just missed at Gatton heavily bet prior and can go better today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Dwindling Spirit.
