Plenty of pace from the outset with Emerald's Son and Rockbarton Roman leading the charge. AHOY (11) returned in good order with a determined maiden win over 1262m at Taree on April 20. Looks to have come back much stronger and will appreciate the rise in trip. Go close again. ROCKBARTON ROMAN (1) has a solid record over this track and trip and will appreciate a firmer deck today. Ran on late in the heavy (8) going when fourth over 1500m here on April 21. Claim helps again and is expected to play a leading role. SUPER STORY (6) broke through for a well-deserved maiden win at start 17 when scoring over 1400m at Scone on April 16. Up in trip again for this and can figure prominently.
