Nothing to run them along here so the pace looks average at best. LANG LEVEN (10) last appeared five weeks ago over 1400m at Urawa when she finished sixth. This is her first run for the Ryuma Kanagawa stable. Makes plenty of appeal in the new surroundings. KREIS (5) struggled in a far tougher race two back but last time did much better in more suitable company when third at this track. Winning hope on best form. CHAMPETRE (4) hasn't featured at his last two runs, the latest when 14th at Hanshin Dirt. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here and can feature. LASER BEAM (2) was 11th at the second run back from a break in a 1600m contest at Nakayama a month ago. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects here.
