Strong tempo from the outset with Island Tide leading the charge. A good race. ISLAND TIDE (9) is another decent winning chance for the sharp Vandyke yard. Missed a whisker at Gatton second-up and she has the speed to make short work of the awkward gate. Has more to offer and Cejay Graham sticks and is building a nice record with the yard. EVELYN'S JOY (7) led and belted the Ipswich Maidens over this trip on debut and then went back and didn't handle the track condition. Third-up now and has been kept on the fresh side. She should get every chance to bounce back. SAY WHEN SUTTY (10) was outgraded in an Open 3 at the Sunshine Coast but she delivered a strong Maiden win prior at Gatton. She's one of several speedsters in this contest and a bounce can't be ruled out. The Currie-trained pair FROZEN MISS (8) is worth more than passing consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Island Tide.
