GOLD COAST POLY   20 Apr 2024

GOING: N

SILVERCHEF BENCHMARK 58 Handicap 2000m

Track: SYNTHETIC     Rail: True.

Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Fiddler Onthe Roof. SIR ZINO (7) saves his best form for this track and trip with a win and a placing from just two attempts and gets the services of Wiggins on from the low draw. Strips fitter third-up from the break and must be respected from the Waller yard. PAPAL MISS (6) was a touch disappointing last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Can bounce back against this lot. HEREDITARY (8) has hit the top-five at his past five outings and is usually thereabouts. Top-three candidate on best form. MAGIC MIKEY (4) gets up to his right distance range now and is one for the exotics players. FIDDLER ONTHE ROOF (5) shed the maiden tag at the latest effort and will have taken confidence from that victory. Can go right on with the job. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sir Zino to bounce back to form.
