Genuine pace with Annakuri finding the front from his low draw. Tough. NEW YORK GAL (6) peaks in easier grade and is busting to win. Missed narrowly at Toowoomba and then raced favourite at Warwick not beaten far. Has the blinkers first-time applied and tumbles in weight with the 4kg claim. ALFA LILY (2) has ability and didn't handle the heavy track first up. She's a second-up winner and has a low barrier and the blinkers on again. Quick improvement is likely. MONTANA LADY (7) has needed the two runs back and is a third-up winner with plenty up the sleeve. Has a handy barrier and the blinkers go on again. Has the best peak figure and will get every chance. SEDUCTIVE SPUR (4) was outgraded at Doomben and then found more like her best when narrowly beaten at Toowoomba after settling well back. Didn't enjoy the poly surface after that and forgiving. Has a 2kg claim and can settle closer today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with New York Gal.
