Very strong early tempo primarily from Daniher, Better Not Fuss and Broad Outlook over Barocco Bar and More Money Please. DANIHER (1) was only run down late after leading last time out and had to settle for second, half a length from the winner. He drops slightly in class for this and with a 2-kilo claim he carries the same weight. With a furlong less to travel this time, he could take them all of the way. BETTER NOT FUSS (2) finished fifth in the same race as the top pick last start after winning at long odds in Open grade before that. If he can replicate that effort, he would be very hard to beat in this. BAROCCO BAR (5) lost his rider in the same race as the top 2 picks. He was a nose winner in lesser company before that and is worth including with the aid of a perfect inside gate this time. TINTERN POWER (7) might have found the 2000 metres a touch too far last time out and is better off over a shorter trip for now. He benefits from a 2-kilo claim and is capable of a first four finish. Include in all multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Daniher to win.
