Solid tempo from Uchi, Tamsin and Confirm Nor Deny battling for the lead in a high-pressure contest. UCHI (4) looked handy winning by two lengths at Toowoomba on debut and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that victory. Lang sticks in the irons and no surprise to see her go back-to-back to start the career. TORRE EGGER (6) has a win and a second from two attempts over this track and trip and gets 2kg off with the claim. Strong top-three prospects. WHISKEY DANCER (7) is yet to miss a drum in six starts over this course and distance and strips fitter second-up from the spell. Right in this. CAPTAIN ARTIE (3) is a bit of a hit-or-miss type but can feature if he brings his best. PANGAEA (1) resumes here but has a solid first-up record and may run a race while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Uchi to win again.
