LORD FINLAND (3) put the writing on the wall last start when he overcame a wide run in transit to be beaten just half a length over this distance at Gunnedah. Gets in with the same weight after the claim in an easier race. Looks the goods. STRATUM CHIEF (1) failed on a bog last time out so forgive the run. Good chance if he can replicate the Grafton effort two back when a very close fourth over the mile. WILDERNESS STAR (5) was shuffled back before the turn then worked home well to just miss the placings recently over this trip at Grafton. In the mix in this easier race. ZORIA'S HERO (8) needs more ground but off a 44-day let-up could sneak into the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Lord Finland.
