MISUZU MAJOR (5) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1400m at this track when he was handy all the way. Capable of a big performance. CAPTIF (8) was leading on the turn and fought on well to finish third over 1400m at this track at his latest appearance. Fitter and expected to go well. NATHAN BAROWS (2) proved too strong two runs ago here but was less impressive last time out when eighth over 1400m at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins and can bounce back. FUKUCHAN KING (6) was below his best last time, finishing sixth over 1400m at this track. Has the right credentials to run a forward race.
