Moderate tempo expected with Silver Rider likely to find the front over Wright Flyer and Kitano Rose. KITANO ROSE (9) is still a maiden after eight runs. Was popular in betting last time out but didn't live up to market expectations, finishing eighth over 1500m at Kawasaki. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. WRIGHT FLYER (10) was beaten just a neck last start when fresh from a spell and landed his first top-three finish in the process over today's course and distance. Sure to play a major role again. SILVER RIDER (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 8 lengths into seventh after being in the firing line on the corner. Has the ability to take this out. CHRONO RAIDEN (8) drew wide and was pretty plain last time out when 3.5 lengths from the winner in fifth at this course and distance. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be doing his best work late.
