One of the genuine hopes in the race. DONDENGAESHI (2) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1400m at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Expected to feature in the finish. GLORIOUS APOI (5) drew wide last time and was safely held when eighth over this track and trip. Better than the latest run suggests and can improve sharply. TAGANO TETSU (3) drifted back over 1230m here last time before winding up late to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Right up to this on best form.
