A solid tempo anticipated with Kingsbury and Moira ahead of Maile Lei and K's Blanc. MOIRA (2) has returned in good shape this preparation. Opened with a third at this track two starts back then scored by 1.5 lengths last time out over 1200m at this track. Yuki Yamanaka scored on her last time and retains the mount. Meeting a tougher field but on current form she is one of the key runners. KINGSBURY (5) is a distance specialist who progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just half a length from the winner in second over 1200m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MAILE LEI (11) lines up for the first time since March 12. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. Has recorded four wins when first up from a break. Definite top-three chance. K'S BLANC (8) raced on the speed last start over this course and distance and stuck on well to finish second, beaten 1.5 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves her chance.
