Genuine tempo with the speedy Isla Del Norte leading the way. DEKOPIN (13) is resuming from a spell of three months and having his first run for the Kiyoaki Sasaki yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Urawa over 1400m. Sure to take some beating. ISLA DEL NORTE (5) remains a maiden after 31 runs. Met with plenty of support last time but after being in contention on the bend could only manage to finish fourth over 1200m at this track. This offers him a great chance of breaking through. HARMONY HOKUTO (8) led to the turn over 1200m at this track last time out but faded to finish sixth. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. TOA RHODANTHE (14) was in the money two starts back at Urawa but was unable to repeat the effort last time when ninth, beaten 13 lengths, at Urawa over 800m. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
