Snip Of Romance and Great Promise possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. SOMETHING ROYAL (3) won well two back before a 0.4L defeat last time out at Bunbury when the race favourite. Now draws a much better barrier for Pike who remains on board. Should sit much closer this time around and a return to winning ways is on the cards. GREAT PROMISE (2) is racing in good order without winning, finishing 1.3L off the winner last time out at Northam to continue her good run of recent form. The form around her has been solid and she should be prominent from the outset. Can go one better this time. SNIP OF ROMANCE (5) led them up last time out and got the job done at this track and trip, winning by 0.9L. He's another that can be up front from the outset and Riordan's claim sees him get in with no weight on his back. EARTH GOD (1) has trialled nicely coming into this and won't be far away with the winkers back on. BLUE CAN TALK (6) won't be far away on the fresh side. SUGGESTED PLAY: Something Royal can get back to winning form.
