A solid tempo on the cards with Simply Deep taking charge. SIMPLY DEEP (7) has been in sparkling form winning his last two and is yet to miss the frame in four runs at this course and distance. Freshened as he drops back in trip but looks hard to beat again. TUSKEGEE (6) looks the threat after a near miss fresh. Huge weight drop for this and is yet to miss the frame in 11 starts here, including four wins. Goes close on the back of that smart return. THE LONGEST YARD (5) improved last time out, finishing a head behind Simply Deep when he worked home well. Won only try this course and distance. NICCO THE GREEK (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when he made late ground but found a couple better over 1200m at Hobart, beaten only 1.5 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. CAPTAIN CAM (1) goes well here and must include off the inside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Simply Deep.
